Call for Candidates – IIAS 2025 Elections

The International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) is preparing for its 2025 Elections, with key leadership positions open for application. The IIAS is governed by its Council of Administration (CoA), which was last elected during the IIAS-EUROMENA Conference in Rome in 2022, and will now be renewed during the upcoming IIAS-DARPG India Conference 2025.

Open Positions for the 2025 Elections
Applications are now open for the following vacant positions, available to IIAS members until December 1st, 2024:
• President
• Host Country Vice-President
• Vice-President for Latin America
• Vice-President for North America
• Vice-President for South Asia and the Pacific
• 7 Council of Administration Members

Election Process
The Council of Administration will review the applications on December 17, 2024, and present its final recommendations to the General Assembly during the IIAS-DARPG India Conference 2025.

EGPA Invites Proposals for New Study Groups, Ad Hoc Groups and Specialised Panels for 2027

The European Group for Public Administration (EGPA) invites scholars and practitioners to propose new initiatives for its 2027 Annual Conference, taking place at Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary, from 24 to 27 August 2027. EGPA provides a European forum for public administration scholars and practitioners to present research, exchange perspectives and develop collaborations across public administration, public management and public policy. The call welcomes proposals for three formats: Permanent Study Groups (PSGs), Ad Hoc Groups (AHGs) and Specialised Panels (SPs). EGPA looks forward to welcoming new initiatives, perspectives and research communities that will enrich its 2027 Annual Conference and contribute to the development of public administration research across Europe and beyond.
